PrivateJet.com arranges Ciudad Juárez to Mexico City private jet charter flights on demand, from the border to the capital.

Most travelers on this route have a plant or a business in Juárez and need to be in Mexico City for a board meeting, a ministry appointment, or a meeting with a lender. Flying commercial means going through Benito Juárez’s main terminal and then driving across the city. A charter lands at Toluca, on the west side near Santa Fe, and your car meets you at the FBO.

A flight between two Mexican cities has to follow Mexico’s domestic charter rules, so you can book this trip in one of two ways: from Juárez on a Mexican-registered aircraft, or from El Paso on a U.S. aircraft. We’ll help you compare them when you ask for a quote.

## Private Jets for Charter Flights between Ciudad Juárez & Mexico City

### Turboprops

A turboprop takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour longer than a jet on this route, and it costs the least. Toluca is the complication. Its high elevation, combined with afternoon heat, reduces how much weight an aircraft can take off with. On the return with a full cabin, the crew may need to carry less fuel and stop on the way, for example in Chihuahua or Zacatecas. A morning departure usually avoids that. Turboprops work well for small groups who don’t have a tight meeting schedule.

### Midsize Jets

A midsize jet makes sense when seven or eight people need to work on the way down, or when they’re bringing luggage for a week in the capital. The cabin is nearly tall enough to stand in, there’s an enclosed lavatory, and the extra engine power helps when you leave Toluca at midday with a full cabin.

### Super Midsize Jets

Super midsize jets have a flat floor, a stand-up cabin, and a baggage hold big enough for a delegation. On this route they’re only a few minutes faster than a midsize jet. The reason to choose one is cabin space, or a longer day, such as continuing from Mexico City to Monterrey or Houston.

- Capacity: 9 passengers
- Price per hour: $6,000
- Cabin Size: 6 ft (H) x 6.8 ft (W) x 24.1 ft (L)

### Heavy Jets

A heavy jet seats about a dozen passengers and has a galley and a cabin attendant. It fits a full executive team or a board traveling together. Both Toluca’s and Juárez’s runways are long enough for this category, and the extra power gives a comfortable margin on high-elevation departures.

### Ultra Long Range Jets

For aircraft built to cross oceans, a two-hour trip is short. They make sense when Mexico City is the first stop on a longer itinerary, such as continuing to São Paulo or Madrid on the same aircraft, or when a group wants a cabin with a bedroom. Toluca handles this class regularly.

## Ciudad Juárez and Mexico City Private Jet Charter Services

PrivateJet.com books this route on the aircraft that fits your plans: a Mexican-registered jet departing from Juárez, or a U.S. jet departing from El Paso. We handle the permits and paperwork either way. If your trip includes other Mexican cities, such as a stop in Querétaro or Monterrey, we book the Mexican-registered option, since a U.S. aircraft can’t carry passengers between two cities in Mexico.

For a day trip, the crew waits at Toluca until your meetings are done. A car meets you at the FBO in Juárez or El Paso and again in Toluca. Because the drive into Mexico City takes up to two hours, we time your departure around your first appointment. If you’re bringing sample cases, prototypes, or presentation materials, tell us when you book so we can choose an aircraft with enough baggage space.

A Mexican-registered aircraft from Juárez can often be arranged on short notice. Departing from El Paso needs at least two weeks, because AFAC requires ten business days’ notice for each charter flight entering Mexico.

### Frequently Asked Questions

#### Why can't I fly from Juárez to Mexico City on a U.S. private jet?

Mexico’s cabotage rules don’t allow foreign-registered aircraft to carry paying passengers between two points within Mexico. A U.S. jet can fly you into Mexico and back out, but not from one Mexican city to another. For this route, we either book a Mexican-registered operator or start the trip in El Paso, which makes it an international flight. Both options are common. The choice usually depends on price, aircraft availability, and how much notice you can give.

#### Can I use Benito Juárez Airport instead of Toluca?

Usually not. Mexico City’s main airport is reserved mainly for scheduled airline and state flights, and permission for a charter is rarely granted. Toluca is the capital’s business aviation airport and sits on the west side, toward Santa Fe. For Polanco, Reforma, or the historic center, allow an hour and a half to two hours by car from Toluca, depending on traffic.

#### Is Ciudad Juárez on the same time as Mexico City?

In summer, yes. Juárez follows El Paso’s daylight saving time, while Mexico City stays on Central Standard Time all year. From March to early November, the clocks match. In winter, Juárez is one hour behind, so a 9 a.m. departure from Juárez lands in Toluca around 12:30 p.m. local time.
