### Hilton Head Island

**Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH):** a small county airport on the north end of the island that operates from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Its only runway is 5,000 ft long, which makes it suitable for turboprops, light jets, and midsize jets. HHH is the closest option for Sea Pines, Palmetto Dunes, Shipyard, and the rest of the island.

**Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV):** a commercial airport with private aviation facilities on the Georgia side of the Savannah River. Its 9,351-ft runway takes any aircraft, so heavy jets use it for trips to or from NYC. SAV also suits air charter clients staying in Bluffton or Savannah.

### New York

**Teterboro Airport (TEB):** the main business aviation airport for Manhattan and the best choice for private flights from Hilton Head Island. It’s located 12 miles from Midtown and has no airline service. The longest runway is 7,000 ft. Please note that the Port Authority asks operators to avoid non-essential flights between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
